What is a cool Roof?
A cool roof is a highly reflective surface that reflects sunlight and absorbs less heat. This is simple, affordable technology can reduce rooftop temperatures by up to 50 degrees Fahrenheit (28 degrees Celsius), lower indoor temperatures, and drastically reduce the need for air conditioning.
Our program uses a science-backed methodology, developed in collaboration with international universities and experts like Dr. Hashem Akbari (IPCC, Nobel Peace Prize 2007). Every verified rooftop generates VOLUNTARY CARBON CREDITS (VCC) - real environmental value that donors receive as a certificate.
